Garrett-Powered Vehicles Earn Top Honors from Urban Racer.com

Two vehicles featuring Garrett GT Turbochargers have won the top two awards given out by Urban Racer.com, one of the internet's most-respected cyberzines!

The utterly insane Skyline conversion Nissan Sylvia (240SX, stateside) S14 built by the wunderkind at Full Race has received Urban Racer.com's Innovation Award for "its incredibly visionary Skyline GT-R/240SX conversion kit derived from Full Race's Geoff Raicer's Project R14." Not just another Nissan 240SX playing host to an RB26DETT, this subtle-looking Sylvia has been fully transformed into an all-wheel-drive, left-hand-drive Nissan Skyline that includes the GT-R's chassis, suspension and brakes as well as the power train.

R14

With too many alterations to list, this is a one-of-a-kind car that will soon have a conversion kit built around it for sale to the public. With a combination of AWD, an RB26DETT and a massive Garrett GT42R, this is going to be one car that will leave people breathless for years to come.

Look for a full write-up on the R14, as Full Race has dubbed it, in the December issue of Modified Magazine.

The second award is no less impressive. Urban Racer.com's Most Significant Car of the show award has landed in the laps of the engineers behind the Extreme Dimensions Honda Fit. If you've ever been to the SEMA show, you know that choosing between the literally thousands of vehicles can be mind boggling. However, this Honda Fit labeled Time Machine stands above all others.

Fit

This B-segment sub-compact sports a clean K-series engine swap, track-ready cockpit, suspension work and a powerful GT3582R. Already putting 500 HP to the ground at the front wheels, the guys behind the car are looking for much more and will be pushing the GT35R as hard as they can in the coming months.

Look for this Fit on the covers of many magazines in the future. You will also be able to drive this mini monster in the next version of Gran Turismo, as it was selected as the SEMA winner for placement in the popular racing game.
