Crawford Crowned AWD and Overall Champion at GT Live
4/29/07
Miller Motorsports Park (UT) - Team Crawford traveled to Miller Motorsports Park (MMP), in beautiful Utah, where GT Live kicked off its interactive motorsports festival for '07. This unique brand of motorsports entertainment hosted a myriad of events, including the GT Live Sim race, Professional Drifting, XDL stunt bike-riding, Karting, and the popular…Time Attack. It was no wonder that spectators and media (Subiesport, Modified Magazine and SPEED TV to name a few,) were on hand to participate and report on the action packed two day adventure.

The Crawford Time Attack car came fully prepared with its APR wide Body kit, Tein N1 coilovers, Prodrive GC05 rims, Exedy triple carbon clutch, Brembo Gran Turismo brakes, BFGoodrich tires, Crawford Performance's powerful CP35R turbo kit wrapped around our race proven S5 engine and I-Speed's legendary engine tuning. To help wield and tame the 600hp street car, we invited Rally X-Gamer, Professional drifter, and all around nice guy Tanner Foust, to pilot the Crawford Time Attack machine.
Tanner agreed to sit in the cockpit knowing full well that taking a 3000lb+ street car, adding 600hp and making it compete against some serious race cars was going to be one tall order. But challenges are the true testaments to all competitors. That being said, Tanner put on his suit, helmet, gloves, and headed trackside and began working with the Crawford Team, making choice set-up changes.
Lap after lap, Tanner carved through MMP's east course amassing data and downloading all info to the team. The info was used to make the necessary camber/caster adjustments, change ride height, and repair some minor mechanical failures. None of the minutia seemed to matter as the entire team coalesced and moved through each obstacle with relative ease.
With the car running in superb form, all that was left to do was wait for the final race on Sunday. But that is not what the Crawford Time Attack street car was designed for. It was engineered to display power AND reliability, and what better way to do that than give rides to fans, media, and spectators throughout the remainder of the weekend.
Tanner and the Crawford Time Attack car diligently worked overtime, persisting to entertain guests and awe passengers, only pitting for the occasional re-fueling and passenger swaps. By the end of the weekend the entire team had their share of track time, photo ops, and Utah sun. All that was remaining was the Time Attack Finale.
And what a finale it was, as the three fastest AWD machines in the country, the DynoComp STi., the AMS EVO and the Crawford Performance Sti, were all ready to make the final run and all vying for top honors in this the first of the Triple Crown GT Live Time Attack series.
With the rest of the field already finished with their timed sessions, all that was left was for Tanner to take the Crawford Time Attack car out and top the fastest posted time of the final round by Dyno Comp, which was a 1:40.0066
One would think that after two exceptional hot days, countless laps around the track, giving rides to fans and media alike, that one would be near exhaustion. But being the professional driver and showman he is, Tanner saved his best work for last.

Clocking in a 1:37.5, Tanner drove the Crawford Time Attack car to victory lane and was crowned GT Live Time Attack AWD winner and overall Champion. If that weren't enough, Tanner's time earned him and the Crawford Time Attack car a new track record.
