Kenny Tran Wins 2007 NHRA Hot Rod World Championship
October 20-21

Pulling into the pits at the season-ending NHRA Sport Compact World Finals at Pomona 37 points behind class leader Stephanie Eggum, Kenny Tran Racing had a clear mission-set the national E.T. record and win the event.

"Our strategy was to come in and try to win the event and whatever happened would happen," says Kenny. "Our big break came when Eggum lost in the first round and we advanced. This totally changed the game because now we were only 18 points behind." Time for Plan B.

October 15, 2007

Noted Tanner, "The grip of the new tires was awesome! This was the first time we used them all season and they forced the suspension to work harder, so we needed to make adjustments going into practice on Friday."

The Garrett Cobalt; Not a Trailer Queen
Los Angeles (CA) - Many of the cars that are used for product development get squirreled away by their creators, rarely seeing the light of day. Others have money poured into them so that they are outfitted with the finest products that the aftermarket has to offer, only to be trailered to events as a show car but never driven. The Garrett Chevy Cobalt has gloriously escaped both of these questionable fates.
The Garrett team has driven their silver Cobalt to, in, and from several very different events in the weeks following the kit's completion. This little coupe is getting quite a workout!
